  • A background discussion of the three main characters of the revolt and hy they were frustrated with William, beginning with the wedding. Students complete the first section of their sheet. I print the sheet on A3 to ensure that this whole output on this revolt acts like a single-page knowledge organisers.
  • A task to study the main aims of the revolt. Students complete the questions on their collection worksheet.
  • A video that gives the outcome of the revolt, then an activity for students to study the information sheet about the events and consequences and finish their sheet.
  • There is exam practice at the end of the lesson as optional.
