This resource includes 16 colourful Boardmaker® licensed symbol flashcards featuring common garden verbs such as dig, sweep, water, sow, weed, rake, plant, mow, pick, paint, pot, strim and arrange. It also contains a full set of black and white flashcards for children to colour and personalise.

Three accompanying worksheets each include four black and white symbols with space for children to colour the pictures, discuss the action, and write simple phrases or sentences.
A separate ideas sheet provides 20 ways to use the resource, including vocabulary development, speaking and listening, role play, matching, sorting, sequencing, sentence building, and question and answer activities.
