Frog activities for kids in Year 2 to Year 4 (KS1-KS2, Grades 1-3): a 16-page nature study journal that guides children through the body of a frog, its life cycle and its pond habitat, with drawing, true or false questions, an experiment and a game. Includes a colour and a black and white edition.

Pupils learn that the frog is an amphibian, label the body parts (eye, eardrum, skin, front leg and hind leg), put the life cycle in order from eggs to tadpole to adult, observe a pond habitat without collecting anything and draw a frog in its habitat. A simple water evaporation experiment with sponges links frogs’ skin to science, and a Frog Tic-Tac-Toe game finishes the journal.
