Friendship and Conflict Resolution
Printable games, conversation cards and worksheets for ages 7–10

“Play only with me! “Give it to me—we’re friends! “You never listen!

Children often know what they want but struggle to find the words. This activity pack invites them to turn demands, blame and hurtful phrases into clear requests, respectful boundaries and practical ways to repair a disagreement.

Through dice games, short scenarios and role-play, children explore different viewpoints and try out their own responses. There is room for thoughtful discussion, unexpected ideas and gentle humour.

What’s included

  • 8 ways to play, with detailed instructions.
  • 3 dice tables with 72 phrases to reword.
  • 216 suggested responses to support discussion.
  • 24 illustrated situation cards for conversations and role-play.
  • 6 worksheets for drawing, writing and reflection.
  • A cooperative 24-space path game.
  • 40 optional humorous phrases for suitable situations.
  • Adult guidance with practical methods, follow-up questions and worked examples.
    More than one possible answer

The suggested responses are starting points. Children can offer different solutions, explain their choices and consider what might happen next. Activities encourage them to express wishes, say no, listen to others and recognise that friendship leaves room for different needs.

Who is it for?

For ages 7–10 with adult support, at home, in classrooms or in small groups. Suitable for 2–6 players, or one child with an adult. Many activities take 10–15 minutes.

Children may speak, draw, dictate or pass. They do not need to share personal experiences; fictional characters can be used throughout.

Format and printing

One complete 44-page PDF in English, including printing instructions and navigation bookmarks. Print on A4 at actual size or 100%, with automatic page orientation. Dice tables and the path board are landscape; other pages are portrait.

Dice, counters and a playing piece are needed and are not included. This is a digital download; no physical product will be shipped.
