French Subjunctive Practice Cards - Il faut que

This set of 50 study cards is meant to help students practice and master forming the French present subjunctive. Each card provides a sentence with a blank where the verb should be. The verb to use is written in the infinitive form at the top of each card. 25 cards begin with Il faut que, and 25 begin with Il ne faut pas que.

Students practice using regular and irregular verbs in the subjunctive, and the English translations provided on the answer key will be most helpful as they come across new vocabulary and ways of saying things. None of the English translations begin with It is necessary that, because that isn鈥檛 the best way to say these sentences in English. Students will gain better knowledge of why the subjunctive is used by working with so many different examples.
