First Day of School Coloring Pages give you 29 printable sheets for the morning that matters most. Alarm clocks, calendars, and smiling school supplies fill every page.

This is the smaller pack in the back to school range, built for a single busy week rather than a whole term. Twenty nine sheets is enough for one per child in most classes, with spares.

Inside the Pack

An alarm clock with two round bells on top wakes up the first sheet, drawn with a face on the dial. A large star sits at the center of another page, flanked by a smiling cloud, an apple resting on a stack of two books, and a pencil with eyes and a grin. One page gives the calendar its own space: a spiral bound pad turned to a big number 1, ringed with small five point stars.

Party hats and a balloon carry the celebration through the rest of the set. Confetti fills the gaps, drawn as small circles, triangles, and diamonds rather than solid blobs, which gives quick finishers something extra to work on.

The heading BEGINNING OF YEAR runs across several sheets in open outline letters ready to be colored in.

Educational Benefits
  • Pencil grip strengthens across pages that mix wide shapes with narrow confetti.
    • Number recognition gets a quiet workout from the calendar sheets showing day 1.
    • Following directions can be practiced by naming a color for each object before students begin.
    • Sustained attention grows on the busier pages, which take longer than one sitting for younger children.
Classroom Uses
  • A first morning task that needs no explanation
    • Name practice on the back while students settle
    • Take home pages for the first weekend
    • Filler for the gap between arrival and the first bell
    • Quiet work during parent drop off week
    • A shared activity for buddy classes pairing older and younger students
