This comprehensive, ready-to-print English test is designed for advanced high school students aged 16–18 (grades 11–12, CEFR level B2–C1). It contains 80 questions across four sections and takes 90 minutes to complete. The test is ideal for mock exams, end-of-term assessments, or university entrance preparation.

The listening section includes three authentic tasks: a conversation about a design competition (energy‑efficient dishwasher), a report on football fan behavior, and a news report about a heist at the Louvre Museum (security weaknesses, arrests, unrecovered jewels).

The lexico-grammar section covers advanced vocabulary (sheer determination, throbbing headache, seeds of compassion, standstill negotiations), collocations, idioms (walk a fine line, pull out all the stops), phrasal verbs (settle up, see it through), inversions (Not until…, Had they not been driving…), conditional structures, subjunctive (essential that parcels be checked), synonyms/antonyms, and error recognition.

The reading section has four passages: homeschooling in rural areas (cloze with vocabulary like assume, unorthodox, impart, arouse), artificial intelligence (scholars’ views on machine consciousness), genetic ancestry testing (accuracy, ethical concerns, privacy), and climate change (greenhouse effect, extreme weather, sea level rise, individual and governmental actions). Question types include multiple‑choice cloze, sentence insertion, true/false, inference, paraphrasing, and main idea.

The writing section includes two sentence ordering tasks (coherent paragraph on green living and social media) and two dialogue ordering tasks (conversations about ecotourism and celebrations).

Key topics: sustainable design, renewable energy, football culture, museum security, AI philosophy, genetic ethics, environmental conservation, and cultural traditions.

The test is fully editable and includes an answer key. Perfect for advanced ESL/EFL learners, Cambridge First (FCE) or Advanced (CAE) preparation, or high school exit exams. No country‑specific references – suitable globally.
