Edexcel IGCSE English Language Paper 1 Section A Q3 lesson, exploring an extract on returning home that will go on to be compared to Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah (from the anthology for component 1).

We look at non-fiction texts and AO1, selecting key information and making interpretations, as well as using brief quotations from a non-fiction story about a man returning to his hometown after many years away. We go on to look at Chinese Cinderella.

Designed for Edexcel IGCSE Specification A (4EA1), differentiated throughout. It is full of adaptive learning strategies that are useful for a range of abilities.
