This is the seventh lesson for the EDEXCEL GCSE superpower relations and the cold war unit. It considers the importance of the arms race and the theory of mutual destruction in the development of the Cold War. This unit of work is based very heavily on examination techniques, and introduces students to 4 marks consequence questions and 8 marks significance questions with modeled examples of answers.
