This resource talks the students through what mulch is, why mulch is important and how you can mulch places in your school. Climate anxiety is rising at the moment and we have made a collection of resources to help combat that anxiety help students take climate action in their school grounds. This resource is part of a pack which is available on our website, but we鈥檝e also broken the pack up and they鈥檙e all available on TES.

The whole pack takes you through the year, showing how you and your students can take positive climate action to cool the planet. Students will learn how to slow the flow of water, cool the temperature and help get water gently into the ground, all by working with plants.

The resource pack includes worksheets to learn what is happening in our world, step by step instruction guides for planting and follow-up activities to reinforce learning.

Includes Widgit symbols to support reading.

Suitable for young people with additional needs.
