Class Community Circle Cards give Grades 3–5 teachers a ready-made system for running weekly class circles — the structured conversations that build trust, emotional vocabulary, and the kind of classroom community where learning actually happens. Three components in one download: 35 print-and-cut cards, a teacher guide, and a projector-ready slide deck.

This product includes three files:

35 Circle Cards — print and cut: Five themes of 7 cards each. Each card has the question on the front with a facilitation tip printed below it. Cards are colour-coded by theme for easy sorting and storage. Print on cardstock and laminate for repeated use. Four cards per A4 sheet — 9 pages total.

Teacher Guide — 6 pages: What a class circle is and why it works, step-by-step guide to running your first circle, facilitation tips, talking piece suggestions, guidance on choosing the right card for the moment, how to use the slide deck alongside the cards, six circle protocols to display in your classroom, and a circle record sheet to track which cards you’ve used.

Slide Deck — 41 slides: One question per slide, colour-coded by theme, projector-ready. Title slide, five theme section slides, and 35 question slides. Display the slide while students hold the circle. Fully editable PPTX.

The five themes are: Community Building (who we are as a group), Restorative Check-In (how we are feeling), Conflict Prevention (how we handle hard moments), Gratitude and Appreciation (what we value in each other), and Goal Setting and Growth (where we are headed).

Circles take 10–15 minutes. No prep. No extra materials. This resource is designed to work in any school — IB PYP, PBIS, restorative practice, or any Grades 3–5 classroom.

Class Community Circle Cards Bundle | K–8 | Restorative SEL

This bundle contains all three Class Community Circle Cards products — K–2, Grades 3–5, and Grades 6–8 — in one purchase. Save versus buying each set individually. Every question in this bundle is written for the same five themes but adapted for the age group. The same theme that asks a Kindergarten student "What's one thing that makes you smile at school?" asks a Grade 8 student "What's something about this class that you didn't expect?" Same structure. Different depth. The progression is intentional — and if you teach the same cohort across multiple years, the questions will grow with them. WHAT'S INCLUDED: K–2 Product: 35 print-and-cut cards (ages 5–8), 41 projector-ready slides, and a K–2 adapted teacher guide (6 pages) covering what makes young learner circles different, step-by-step guide, K–2 specific facilitation tips, language guide, and circle record sheet. Grades 3–5 Product: 35 print-and-cut cards (ages 8–11), 41 projector-ready slides, and a Gr 3–5 adapted teacher guide (6 pages) with facilitation tips, choosing cards guidance, circle protocols, and record sheet. Grades 6–8 Product: 35 print-and-cut cards (ages 11–14), 41 projector-ready slides, and a Gr 6–8 adapted teacher guide (6 pages) with student-led progression guide, language guide for secondary, year-long sequencing, and record sheet. Five themes across all products: Community Building, Restorative Check-In, Conflict Prevention, Gratitude and Appreciation, and Goal Setting and Growth. Seven cards per theme per grade band. 105 cards and 123 slides total. Circles take 8–15 minutes. No prep. No extra materials.
