Looking for a creative and welcoming way to explore new beginnings with your church community?

This September Café Church pack from Whole Heart Ministry explores the theme of New Beginnings through Isaiah 43:19: “See, I am doing a new thing!”

Designed for informal, inclusive and intergenerational worship, this resource helps children and adults reflect on the excitement, uncertainty and opportunities that come with change, remembering that God is with us as we step into something new.

What’s included:

• A detailed Café Church session plan for approximately 40 minutes
• Suggested leader scripts to guide the service
• Opening and closing prayers
• A separate Bible reflection based on Isaiah 43:19
• Discussion questions suitable for different ages
• Creative activity and prayer response ideas
• Suggested worship songs

Bonus resource:

A colourful New Beginnings activity sheet is included as an optional extra. Featuring a word search, colouring, discussion prompts, drawing and writing activities, this sheet can be used during the service, as an additional activity for children, those that need to doodle or taken home to continue exploring the theme together.

The worksheet is not required to deliver the main Café Church session, giving leaders the flexibility to use it in whichever way best suits their congregation.

Perfect for Café Church gatherings, all-age and intergenerational worship, family and children’s ministry, informal church services and back-to-school church events.

The session can be adapted to suit your congregation, available resources and preferred style of worship, encouraging participation across different ages and abilities.

This is a standalone September service pack. An Annual Café Church Planning Overview is also available separately, with further monthly packs planned for release.
