This fun hole punch activity features animals that live in underground burrows.

A mole, ant, rabbit, badger, and prairie dog family live in their underground homes. Children use a single-hole punch to punch along the dotted guide marks on the ground surface. While enjoying the activity, they naturally strengthen hand muscles and develop concentration.

Children can enjoy this activity from around 18 months of age. At first, simply making holes freely is a valuable experience. Around age three, children begin to target the dots more accurately, helping develop more advanced hand-eye coordination skills.

The activity is simple to prepare. First, an adult cuts out the circle shape. Then the child uses a single-hole punch to make holes one by one along the dotted guide marks on the surface. Although simple, this activity requires concentration and helps develop fine motor control and finger strength.

This set includes five sheets featuring a mole, ant, rabbit, badger, and prairie dog. The pages are designed in A4 size and can be printed at home. Printing on thicker paper or cardstock is recommended.

Hole punch activities help develop finger strength, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. Children also enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from completing the activity themselves.

Single-hole punches designed for children are widely available at stationery stores and online.

This is a digital download product. Only PDF files are included. A hole punch, scissors, and paper are not included. Please print and enjoy at home.
