BTEC Level 3 UPS Unit 6 intro lesson | 18-slide overview presentation | activities every 2 slides | no prior knowledge needed

BTEC Level 3 UPS Unit 6 introduction lesson — an 18-slide teacher-led presentation covering the full breadth of the unit. Designed to be the first lesson you teach on Unit 6. No prior knowledge assumed from the class.
What’s included:
An 18-slide PowerPoint presentation covering all four sections of the unit — A, B, C and D — at an introductory level. The Distinction target is established in slide two and returned to at the close. Every two slides there is a short activity — Turn and Talk, Think and Share, Quick Write — keeping students engaged throughout. The deck closes with grade descriptors in plain language and a three-question exit ticket.

In the classroom:
Works as a standalone first lesson or as an orientation session at the start of a scheme of work. The activities are built in — no additional resources needed. The delivery notes mean a new teacher can run the session confidently without preparation beyond reading them through once.
