This Excel combo tracker covers both AQA GCSE English Language (8700) and English Literature (8702) using the 2025 grade boundaries. Type the raw marks and it instantly returns fine grades (1– to 9+) for Language Paper 1 (80), Paper 2 (80) and Combined (160), plus Literature Paper 1 (64), Paper 2 (96) and Combined (160). You also get simple section views: Language 40/40 Reading & Writing for each paper; Literature Shakespeare (34), 19th-century Novel (30), Modern Texts (34), Anthology (30) and Unseen (32). Clear colour coding shows strengths and gaps at a glance, and the ready-made score→grade/boundary tables can be copied straight into department docs. It’s fully editable, uses standard Excel formulas (no macros), and is built to save time on mocks, targets and feedback. (Not an AQA product; section splits use a straightforward proportional method many schools use.)
