It analyses low cost, differentiation and focus strategies and then considers some of the main influences that act upon a firm’s positioning strategy. It proceeds to then examine the value of different strategic positioning strategies before concluding with an evaluation of competitive advantage and the difficulties firms face in maintaining their advantages in the modern market.
