Teach Year 7 angles with a visual, colourful and ready-to-teach Maths PowerPoint. Pupils name acute, right, obtuse and reflex angles, estimate before they measure, and use a protractor with a clear four-step method. Worked examples cover angles on a straight line, around a point, vertically opposite angles, triangles and quadrilaterals, with a dedicated slide on setting out reasons the way examiners expect. A misconceptions slide targets protractor-scale errors. Two interactive, hands-on activities, an estimate-measure-draw task and a missing-angle challenge with algebra stretch, give real practice. Non-specialist friendly and ideal as a cover lesson, with a closing slide showing how angles build towards GCSE parallel lines, polygons and trigonometry. Every slide is written directly to the pupil, uses correct subject vocabulary and includes stretch tasks, so confident mathematicians are challenged while others are supported. Speech-bubble prompts from Laura point out where marks are won and lost, and the full set works with a protractor and ruler only, so there is nothing to prepare beyond printing a worksheet.
