This great unit of work uses a short extract from Hamlet to explore Shakespeare’s language, the play’s themes, characters and story. Ideas are explored and developed through movement, presentations, freezes, role play, mime, ritual and narration. It’s a great unit for helping to demystify Shakespeare’s language and for introducing new drama students to a range of drama methodology.
