Topic: Precedent

Paper: Paper 1: English Legal Systems

This is a card sort activity designed to test student鈥檚 understanding and knowledge of cases on Precedent.

Students have to match the case with what they are an example of. These are key cases that will be needed for 5 and 15 mark questions on precedent.

As an extension students can also be asked to explain why that case is an example of that thing.

I use this as part of a precedent intervention, making it competitive between groups and adding bonus points for correctly explaining each case.
