A fun, simple Halloween-themed maths activity for KS1 children, ideal for practising number recognition, counting and turn-taking while enjoying some creative colouring.
This resource includes 4 different Halloween number game sheets for children to choose from. Before playing, children can decorate and colour their chosen game board, making each one their own.
Children then play with a friend. Place counters on Start, take turns to roll a dice, and move along the numbered path. Follow the numbers from 1 to 30 and see who can make it safely Home first!
Included in the resource:
• 4 different Halloween number games
• Number paths from 1–30
• Halloween pictures to decorate and colour
• Simple partner game using a dice and counters
• An additional blank/template game board so children can design, decorate and create their own number game
Perfect for KS1, Year 1 and Year 2, maths provision, Halloween activities, or a fun end-of-term activity.
A lovely way to combine counting to 30, number sequencing, one-to-one counting, dice recognition, creativity, social skills and taking turns.
