This booklet contains over 24 exam style questions based on all the key extracts from Robert Louis Stevenson’s ‘Jekyll and Hyde’. Exam questions are worded in accordance with the latest GCSE English Literature 9-1 specification.

Whilst I created this resource with AQA in mind, I’m sure this would prove useful for other exam boards too. Extracts are in chronological order, so students also revise plot and the development of themes/ideas as they tackle the questions. Each question is unique, meaning that the study guide covers all the major themes, events and characters in the novella.

Ideal for all teachers as there are (obviously) very fewpast papers for the new specification. I reckon I’ve predicted a few future exam questions here!

Visual aids for each chapter, and for certain extracts, are provided to help remind students of key events. There’s also a page of exam tips to help students produce more effective exam responses, containing content and analysis that examiners are specifically looking for. 40 pages jam packed with content.

This would make the ideal companion to the study guide/student workbook I have produced on this novella (see shop)

Ready to roll, everything a student needs to revise for the exam and boost their confidence in the run up to the exam. Little/no adaptation required and a guaranteed grade saver.

Jekyll and Hyde AQA GCSE Study Bundle

Everything you could possibly want or need to teach and revise for Jekyll and Hyde as part of the 19th Century Texts component of the AQA English Literature GCSE exam. A complete scheme of work and plenty more besides! 60%+ saving through buying the bundled resources. Further information on each of the resources can be found by clicking on their links. Here is a broad breakdown: Comprehension booklets for all chapters for students to study and explore the text as they read (essentially a scheme of work). These booklets are a priceless teaching tool as they allow you to actively teach the novel, with students exploring key characters, themes, plot developments and context after every chapter. This is ideal as a low maintenance way of teaching the text, requiring little adaptation and allowing your students to explore the text independently. Also ideal for tutors/home schooling. Revision guide is provided once they have finished or to return back to the text in the run up to the exam. Exam practice and questions booklet is provided to further aid revision and exam strategy in the run up to the exam. Students become confident answering exam style questions from different points in the text. Cue cards provided to enable your students to memorise key quotes and ideas. Everything is ready to roll. Little to no adaptation required. If you like low maintenance teaching you will love this! Buy in confidence from a TES recommended author.

it is exactly as stated. A great range of practice questions for students to work through so it saved me a lot of time in making them. I deleted the PEELZL as i don't use that method.
