Overview

Teach and revise the full Energy Resources and Energy Transfer unit with a coherent set of student, teacher and assessment materials. The bundle develops accurate understanding of energy stores and transfer pathways, conservation, Sankey diagrams, efficiency, conduction, convection, infrared radiation, insulation, work, gravitational potential energy, kinetic energy, power, and electricity generation from renewable and non-renewable resources.

The resources combine clear explanations with progressive calculations, practical-skills tasks, data interpretation and evidence-based evaluation. Students are supported from core ideas through multi-step applications, while teachers receive planning, misconception guidance, assessment materials and a substantial classroom presentation deck.

The classroom presentation slides are a core part of the complete product. They are designed for direct whole-class teaching, with visual explanations, fully worked examples, guided practice, hinge questions, misconception checks and student-active tasks.

What’s Included

This bundle includes:

  • Student Notes — Structured, printable notes covering concepts, formulae, units, practical skills, common mistakes and quick checks.
  • Worked Examples — Fully solved examples for efficiency, Sankey diagrams, thermal transfer, work, GPE, KE, power and energy-resource evaluation.
  • Practice Questions — Progressive Core, Standard and Challenge questions with calculation, explanation, practical and evaluation tasks.
  • Challenge Questions — Multi-step and unfamiliar-context problems for deeper reasoning and extension.
  • Mini Assessment — A 40-mark end-of-unit assessment covering knowledge, calculations, explanations and practical skills.
  • Mark Scheme — Detailed answers, working, partial-credit guidance, acceptable alternatives and common errors.
  • Lesson Plan — A flexible teaching sequence with starters, checks for understanding, practical notes, differentiation and plenary ideas.
