‘Vocab Snapshot’ is a simple, engaging resource designed to help children explore, understand and remember new vocabulary.

For each word, pupils complete five quick sections: Write it, Define it, Classify it, Draw it and Use it**. This encourages children to think carefully about meaning, word class and application, while creating a useful visual record of their learning.

The resource is provided in various sizes, making it flexible enough to use for classroom displays, word walls, sticking into books or creating a dedicated Vocab Snapshot notebook. Ideal for introducing key vocabulary, retrieval practice and building confident vocabulary use across the curriculum.
