This editable PowerPoint is designed to support students exploring the new ‘Found’ theme for ESA C2 (Edexcel) through the Photography pathway. Across 17 slides, it provides an introduction to 14 key artists, complete with profiles, examples of their work, and discussion prompts to inspire student thinking.

Please note that some of these artist slides are repeated in my alternative resource titled ‘‘FOUND’ (2026): A Complete Guide to GCSE Art and Design ESA C2’ for transparency.

Students are guided through an introductory task comparing different interpretations of the ‘Found’ theme by analysing photographs, helping them understand context, meaning, and artistic intent. Later slides focus on creating atmosphere in photography, with activities on comparing and contrasting images, analysing composition and techniques, and planning next steps in their own work. Perfect for classroom teaching, independent study, or as a reference for students developing their ESA C2 portfolios.
