HOW IT¡¯S TAUGHT
Concrete, pictorial and abstract, with ten frames, base 10, part-whole models, bar models and number lines throughout, in a mastery approach. The Chinese uses the terms Chinese-medium classrooms use, such as ´ÕÊ® (make 10) and һͼËÄʽ (one picture, four number sentences). The lessons follow the White Rose Maths small-steps order for Year 1 (Spring Block 2).
