We then explore the concepts in context through the tasks. The lesson includes a presentation and offline resources, so no broken links. You can also buy this lesson as part of a 4 lesson or full unit bundle. These resources take a lot of time to pull together so please do leave a review if they鈥檝e helped you out in the classroom. Equally, any problems, please let TES know and I鈥檒l try to be of assistance :) Happy teaching!

Go at your own pace (can be more or less than 20 periods), tasks can roll across lessons easily, 90+ slides of editable content. Lots of assessment-oriented essay-writing material and comparison opportunities in the form of model essays and other tasks (here with Kate Chopin鈥檚 The Awakening, Art Spiegelman鈥檚 Maus, and Shakespeare鈥檚 Julius Caesar to a lesser extent). TOK integrated. Plenty of multimedia to make the classroom environment varied and engaging (see links in the notes section of the slides), especially through the use of segmented watching of the 1951 Elia Kazan film. Obviously, I do not claim ownership of the LitChart guide.
