The new school is the result of a merger between Kynaston and Stoke Leys schools and will cater for 130 children with complex learning difficulties. The new building has an impressive range of new facilities including a large hall with a specially sprung floor and a 13 metre hydrotherapy pool.

Pupils are enjoying the use of new classrooms that have been deliberately built to be spacious for wheelchair users.

Ron Westwood, headteacher said: "Our newly built school is just fantastic with so many great facilities for the children."
