Brighton College was among the first UK independent schools to bring its distinctive approach to education overseas. Since the opening of Brighton College Abu Dhabi in 2011, our ambition has been to ensure each new school is recognisably and authentically Brighton. Today, Brighton College International (BCI) schools span the globe: Abu Dhabi (2011), Al Ain (2013), Bangkok (2016), Dubai (2018), Singapore (2020), London (2023), Hanoi (2023), Bangkok Vibhavadi (2025), and will open in Madrid, Rome and Lisbon in 2027.

Brighton College International (BCI)

BCI ensures the Brighton DNA thrives across all schools. Led by Principal and Group CEO Richard Cairns, BCI supports curriculum, admissions, operations, and professional development while giving Heads the autonomy to adapt to local contexts. Heads collaborate at the annual Brighton Heads’ Conference, and teachers and pupils across the family benefit from shared webinars, guest speakers, and joint initiatives. Brighton College Dubai

Brighton College, one of the UK’s top schools, opened its fourth sister school in Dubai in September 2018, following in the footsteps of Brighton College Abu Dhabi (2011), Brighton College Al Ain (2013), Brighton College Bangkok (2016), Brighton College Singapore (2020) and Brighton College Vietnam (2023). Pre-Prep and Preparatory

From FS1 to Year 6, pupils receive an exceptional education in a nurturing, world-class environment. With specialist teaching, outstanding resources, and a focus on creativity alongside academic excellence, every child is celebrated and inspired to thrive. 

Senior and Sixth Form

In the Senior School (Years 7–11), pupils experience a broad curriculum balancing core subjects with creative and innovative courses such as The Story of Our Land. At GCSE, independence and critical thinking are developed in preparation for A-Levels. In the Sixth Form (Years 12–13), pupils specialise in three or four A-Levels and/or BTECs, supported by personalised guidance. This ensures they leave with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed at top universities and beyond.
