For teachers thinking about their first step on the leadership ladder, or for current leaders聽who want to refresh their knowledge of policy changes, here are four go-to documents. Put the kettle on and get stuck in. Each one will give you a better聽understanding of the education landscape, and what new changes mean for your schools.

1. 聽The curriculum

In 2017,听Amanda Spielman, HM Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills, commissioned a major, two-year research study into the curriculum.聽

Ofsted have released a consultation on their new framework '' along with a聽聽on what research underpins Ofsted's proposed education inspection framework.
