Inspire your pupils to explore one of the most important issues facing our world with this engaging, thought-provoking and curriculum-linked Upper Key Stage 2 geography assembly.

When a mysterious heat warning begins disrupting the school day, a group of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils sets out to investigate what is happening. As they speak to scientists, farmers, wildlife experts and members of their local community, they discover how climate change is already affecting weather, wildlife, food production and everyday life. Together, they learn that while climate change is a global challenge, small actions—when taken together—can create real, positive change.
