KS3 History lesson designed for KS3 students (Year7-9).

This lesson鈥檚 objective is for students to discover what Roman Cheshire and Chester were like to live in and how the Romans had a positive impact in Britain.

This lesson tests a student鈥檚 ability to acquire research from different formats of information with engaging and interesting tasks.

Content includes the importance of Chester (Deva Victrix) as a majour Roman Settlement; as well as various technological advancements that improved Cheshire and established it as a wealthy and prosperous area of the Roman Empire.

Tasks include: Retrieval Practice, Diamond Nine, Image analysis, Research, Extended Writing challenge, Plenary.
