This lesson explores beliefs about the soul and the afterlife, introducing key concepts such as dualism and different understandings of life after death from Christianity, Islam, and Sikhism. Designed for the Eduqas GCSE Religious Studies specification (and suitable for other exam boards), it is fully resourced and includes a range of engaging activities, videos, and exam-style questions.

The lesson provides plenty of extension and optional tasks, making it flexible enough to run as a single or double lesson. Students are encouraged to compare religious teachings, reflect on philosophical ideas, and apply their knowledge through discussion and written evaluation.
