Here’s a great resource to practise answering the question “Quel âge as-tu?” Using the PowerPoint game on an interactive board, students click on a birthday cake to reveal a number of candles. Students count the candles to work out the age and answer the question. This can then be followed up with the worksheet that students complete individually. There is also space for them to draw their own birthday cake with candles and write a sentence about their own age. Suitable for Y3 to Y6 in the UK or Grade 2 to 5 in the USA.
