OCR J277 GCSE Computer Science worksheet: identify and trace bubble sort, binary search and linear search in Exam Reference Language. Answers included.

A three-page worksheet where students identify, explain and trace the key algorithms from OCR GCSE Computer Science (J277) 2.1.3, written in OCR Exam Reference Language, just as they appear in the exam.

Three algorithms, one per page

  • Algorithm 1: bubble sort
  • Algorithm 2: binary search
  • Algorithm 3: linear search

For each algorithm, students:

  1. Name the algorithm
  2. Describe its purpose
  3. Complete a trace table
  4. State what the program outputs

This directly practises the OCR requirement to identify an algorithm when given the code for it.

What鈥檚 included

  • Student worksheet (editable Word document) with marks shown for each question
  • Answer sheet with full trace tables and model answers in red
