If you’re studying or teaching Attack the Block as part of the Eduqas GCSE Film Studies course, you may have already bought my study guide (here) which contains a knowledge organiser already. However, I’ve updated this to reflect the specific focus of the film for the exam which is the style of the film with a whole range of knowledge organisers to aid revision. In total, there are THIRTY separate knowledge organiser files in this download, across 3 main types of knowledge organisers. The first is an updated knowledge organiser: the focus on the film in the exam is on the style of the film so I’ve identified 3 possible visual styles and have therefore included a section that reflects these three possible visual styles. The section version of the knowledge organiser features coloured sections-I’ve colour coded the visual styles as: classic sci-fi: teal, monster horror: red and urban realism: light grey. Then I’ve added these colours to each of the sections of the knowledge organiser that in some way reflect or use these visual styles. Finally, there are knowledge organisers that have blank sections included. I use these as low-stake quizzes in class asking students to complete the missing section. For each of these you’ll find a version for Microsoft Word, Mac OSX Pages and PDFs.

As well as this, I’ve also included a range of revision clocks in a range of styles for different platforms. These are brilliant ways to revise key texts and scenes. If you’re unsure of what they are, have a look online to see some brilliant examples and explanations.
