Realistic UK job application forms for young people with SEND to practise on before they apply for real. Pupils learn the language of forms (referee, right to work, National Insurance number, declaration, adjustments) and fill in a My Details sheet once, so they can copy accurate facts every time they apply.

Includes an Application Words page, the My Details sheet, a short form and a full two part form, an availability planner, a Spot the Mistakes form with eight common errors and an answer page, and a final checklist to use before sending. A safety note reminds pupils never to write a real National Insurance number on practice forms.

Use it in careers lessons, before work experience and in supported internship groups. 10 A4 pages.

Employability Bundle for SEND Post-16: CV, Interviews and Starting Work

This employability bundle for SEND post-16 covers finding, applying for and starting a job, from reading job adverts and writing a CV to calling in sick. Most young people with SEND I have worked with can do the job. What trips them up is everything around it: the advert full of jargon, the form with tiny boxes, the interview handshake, the phone call when they are ill. This bundle teaches those steps one at a time, in plain language, with real style UK examples. What is in the bundle (9 resources): 1. CV Writing Template for School Leavers: SEND KS4 Post-16 2. Job Interview Step by Step Cards: Levels A, B and C, from arriving to saying goodbye 3. Reading Job Adverts: pay, hours and contract types 4. Job Application Forms Practice Pack: fill in forms and spot the mistake 5. Calling in Sick Step Cards and Scripts: phone, voicemail and text 6. Telling an Employer or College About My Disability: disclosure guide 7. Work Experience Placement Pack: before, during and after (Year 10, Year 11, Post-16) 8. Work Placement Self Monitoring Checklists and Daily Work Log 9. Workplace Accident and Near Miss Report Forms: practice pack The order follows a real job search. Learners read adverts, build a CV, practise forms, then rehearse the interview. Once they are on placement, the checklists and daily log build independence, and the calling in sick scripts and accident forms cover the moments nobody plans for. The disclosure guide helps a young person decide what to say about their needs, and when, so the reasonable adjustments conversation starts on their terms. Each pack fits a Preparing for Adulthood employment outcome, so the work counts towards EHCP reviews, RARPA records and Entry Level or Functional Skills employability units. Savings: bought singly these nine resources cost 拢27. The bundle is 拢15, so you save 拢12. Use it for a term of KS4 or post-16 careers lessons, or dip into one pack the week before work experience.
