Part 1 — Discover, Explore & Design
Students begin their journey as young inventors. They will:

Identify everyday problems and brainstorm possible solutions

Explore how inventions start with needs, challenges and curiosity

Sketch and label their own prototype ideas

Develop early concepts using guided prompts and visual examples

Build confidence through creative thinking and discussion

Outcome of Part 1:
Each student finishes with a fully developed invention idea and a labelled design ready for refinement.

Part 2 — Create, Advertise & Pitch
Students turn their invention into a polished, persuasive product. They will:

Create an advertisement for their invention

Write a persuasive letter explaining why their invention should be produced

Prepare a Dragon’s Den–style pitch using persuasive language and visuals

Reflect on how their invention could improve lives or solve real problems

Celebrate their creativity in a final Inventors Showcase

Outcome of Part 2:
Students complete a full invention portfolio and deliver a confident pitch.
