This is a good starter or extension task but it is only visually Christmassy. Starts off quite basic and works towards more complex words and I did get mistletoe in there.

Would work well on the back of my punctuation practice sheet - with answer sheets both can be peer marked and this one even has a box for a peer marker to initial.
