These Criminology resources are aimed at Level 3 students.

Learning Outcome 1: Understand how crime reporting affects the public
perception of criminality

AC1.2: Explain reasons why certain crimes are not reported

The resources include a lesson power point, follow along student booklet, activities, homework and linking back to an assignment brief for practice (this can be any past assignment brief of your choice).

I have included case study examples of some unreported crimes and a scaffolding sheet that may help students to set or plan their work out for AC1-3.

I use the booklets during the lesson but equally they can be used as revision aids or homework tasks instead.

Hope this helps.
