This resource is a visually engaging set of editable posters designed to support students in answering exam questions using the Know, Apply, Justify structure. Each poster links a specific component of fitness to the sport of tennis, helping learners develop confidence in extended responses and improve their application of sporting examples.

The resource breaks exam technique into clear stages:

Know – identify and define the component of fitness
Apply – describe how the component is used in tennis
Justify – explain the impact on performance and why it is important

Included components of fitness:

Aerobic endurance

Speed
Agility
Coordination
Power

This is an excellent resource that breaks down application of COF. The Know, Apply, Justify format provides a simple framework that helps move from basic recall to deeper analysis and evaluation, which is often where my students struggle The colour coding make the posters highly accessible for EAL students and lower prior attainers. The step by step structure has really helped support confidence in extended writing. I will be using these as part of a display. Thank you!
