Set purposeful Year 11 Foundation homework without rebuilding worksheets each week. This scaffolded Support booklet provides 11 structured homeworks and a cumulative Mastery Checkpoint, designed for approximately 25–30 minutes per assignment.

Booklet 3, Half Term 3 develops fractions and FDP, percentage methods, linear equations and sequences, linear and quadratic graphs, angles and area, ratio and proportion, and probability. Planned retrieval revisits earlier learning while deliberate variation and interleaving help pupils choose and connect methods across the Foundation course.

Each assignment follows a clear six-part routine: IGNITE — retrieval; BUILD — current methods; DETECT — misconceptions; PERFORM — GCSE-style application; STRETCH — reasoning and depth; REFLECT — brief metacognition.

The Support design reduces cognitive load without removing worthwhile mathematics. Concise toolkits, worked examples, LOOK HERE prompts, PLAN steps, WAY IN guidance, sentence starters and word banks support independent completion. Questions are informed by recurring issues identified in GCSE examiner commentary and assessment guidance, explicitly targeting common misconceptions without claiming exam-board endorsement.

Complete answers include methods, mark allocations and examiner-style warnings for practical self-marking and low-preparation departmental use. Pupils should record their working and answers in an exercise book or on separate paper because the booklet does not contain answer space.

What’s included:
• 40-page Year 11 GCSE Foundation Support homework booklet
• 11 homeworks plus a cumulative Mastery Checkpoint
• Retrieval, misconception, GCSE-style and reasoning practice
• Complete answers, methods and marking guidance
