Section A focuses on the THEME of ‘THE EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN’ and includes an ONLINE ARTICLE written by a Children’s Charity called ‘ChildHope’ which highlights their quest to tackle child labour in India and an AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL EXTRACT by Charles Shaw from his book ‘When I was a Child’, published in 1897, which recounts his time as a child at a union workhouse called ‘Wolstanton & Burslem’ in Chell. Section B focuses on the same THEME and students are expected to write both an Informal Letter and a Guide accordingly. Both sections meet the required Assessment Objectives according to the current Eduqas Examination Criteria.
