A teacher playbook for running a one-lesson digital business simulation with a Business class - with real screenshots of what you and your students see.

In one lesson each student founds a London cafe in a browser and must survive its first year: market position, site choice from eight London pitches, pricing and a 拢1,500 marketing split, break-even, a launch pitch, a crisis, a valuation and one honest reflection. Ten written decisions, every one marked against AO1-AO4. The in-game cash is deliberately not graded: the marks live in the reasoning students write, and the teacher confirms every grade.

Inside this pack:

  • The ten decisions mapped to Edexcel 9BS0 spec areas - AO3/AO4 exercised eight times
  • Curriculum mapping across qualifications: A-Level (Edexcel 9BS0, AQA 7132), BTEC Business, GCSE and IGCSE Business
  • Real screenshots: the student join screen and the teacher鈥檚 marking view (AO skills, reasoning portfolio, override control)
  • How grading works: written reasoning plus engagement - the AI marks, the teacher awards
  • Run-it-live timings (60-75 min) or set-Monday-review-Friday homework flow
  • How to get a class code for your group, and a short note for your IT team (domain whitelisting) so the lesson works first time
  • Six debrief questions and follow-up essay tasks that reuse each student鈥檚 written portfolio
