CVC Missing Final Sounds Worksheet

A free sample from my CVC Missing Final Sounds Pack.

This worksheet contains 9 pictures with the final letter missing from each word. Children look at the picture, say the word aloud and work out which letter is missing at the end.

I’ve kept things simple, with clear pictures and plenty of space to write. It’s a handy little activity for children who are getting to grips with identifying the sounds at the ends of words.

It’s useful for independent practice, small-group phonics work or a quick informal check to see which final sounds children might need more help with.
