Complete unit for BTEC International Level 3 Sport Unit 35 Practical Sports Performance: 2 editable PowerPoints, 8 lessons + 2 assessment lessons.

Teach the whole of Unit 35: Practical Sports Performance with confidence. This bundle contains two complete, fully editable PowerPoints – one for each assignment (Learning Aim A, then Learning Aims B and C combined) – written against the Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Qualifications in Sport specification (first teaching September 2020).

What’s included

  • Learning Aim A – Explore skills, techniques and tactics required in selected sports (4 lessons + assessment lesson): sports and skill classification, skills and techniques, tactical demands, and evaluating performance.
  • Learning Aims B and C – Use skills, techniques and tactics in an individual or team sport, and review own performance to inform future development (4 lessons + assessment lesson): isolated and conditioned practice, competitive situations, reviewing performance, and planning improvement.

Every lesson includes

  • 45 minutes of planned learning for a 50-minute lesson, with timings in the notes
  • Do Now retrieval, I Do / We Do / You Do, hinge questions and a three-tier exit ticket
  • Printable knowledge inserts – students stick them in, they never copy
  • Two-page research-note inserts (in class + homework) with MUST and STRETCH tasks
  • A real, sourced case study (e.g. the Fosbury Flop, Leicester City 2015–16, small-sided games, player tracking)
  • Pass → Merit → Distinction model answers and practice on model examples
  • Detailed speaker notes with answers, misconceptions and questioning prompts
  • UK examples with suggestions for international (including UAE) classes

Assessment-ready

Each assignment ends with an assessment lesson that follows Pearson rules: criteria quoted word for word, independent-work conditions, an authenticity checklist and no scaffolds. Practice always uses model contexts, so students’ assessed work stays their own. Use with your centre’s approved assignment brief.
