  • Lesson is differentiated using aim/challenge/super challenge and the GCSE mark scheme. Tasks and questions are differentiated throughout and there is a help sheet to support lower ability students with structuring their answer.
  • Lesson uses the poems ‘Poppies’ and ‘Remains’ and students are asked to think about the key themes, similarities and differences and then eventually answer a differentiated exam style question (3 question choices.)
