Inspired by AQA GCSE Religious Studies Theme A Christianity: Chapter 2: Christian Practices.

This lesson explores 2.7 Celebrating Festivals in AQA GCSE Religious Studies, focusing on the importance of Christian festivals such as Christmas and Easter. Students will produce clear notes on the meaning, origins, and key practices of these festivals. The lesson includes discussion activities on how festivals help Christians remember key beliefs about Jesus. Students will answer exam-style questions to practise GCSE skills and apply religious teachings. The lesson encourages understanding of worship, celebration, and Christian identity.
