Take children on an exciting animal adventure with these Zoo Animal Clothespin Puppets. Featuring four wonderful zoo favourites — an elephant, capybara, meerkat, and rhino — this interactive craft transforms simple printable templates into moving puppets that inspire curiosity, creativity, and imaginative play.

Perfect for zoo themes, animal studies, classroom centres, homeschool activities, and storytelling sessions, this hands-on resource encourages children to learn through making and playing. As they colour, cut, and assemble their puppets, they develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and creative thinking. Once complete, the puppets can be used for role-play, story retelling, small-world play, and animal-themed learning activities.

This set includes 4 unique zoo animal designs, each provided in both Pre-Coloured and Black & White versions. Children can begin crafting straight away with the ready-to-use templates or customise their animals with their own creative colours and patterns. All files are supplied in both US Letter size (8.5" x 11") and A4 formats for easy printing at home or in the classroom.

Whether you’re planning a zoo topic, wildlife unit, literacy activity, or simply looking for an engaging craft project, these Zoo Animal Clothespin Puppets offer a fun and memorable way to bring favourite animals to life.
