A fully resourced KS3 Geography lesson in which students act as government planners and decide the best location for a new city.

Students analyse four contrasting sites, considering both physical and human factors before preparing a short pitch to persuade the government to choose their location. Each group becomes an expert on one site, creating a collaborative classroom environment where students share information, evaluate alternatives and make an evidence-based final decision.

This lesson was originally created as a stand-alone interview lesson and is designed to run for approximately 50 minutes.
