Who Eats What? – 66 Animal–Food Pairs to Match, Explore and Colour

What does a flamingo eat? What food does a hedgehog find? And what do moth caterpillars feed on? This illustrated resource invites children to explore animal diets through matching, comparing and talking about their discoveries.

The complete set includes:

  • 66 animal–food pairs.
  • 132 colour picture cards across 22 A4 pages.
  • 132 black-and-white colouring cards across 22 A4 pages.
  • An 11-page illustrated guide to the animals and their food.
  • 55 A4 pages in one printable PDF.

The picture cards have no written labels. Food cards show examples of typical foods, sometimes including several plants or prey animals. The accompanying guide supports discussion and helps adults check the matches.

Use the cards for science lessons, learning stations, vocabulary activities or discoveries at home. Print, cut out and mix the cards, then invite children to find the pairs and explain their choices. The outline cards provide an additional colouring activity.
